Small but nice restaurant right next to the Viktualienmarkt. The prices are customary for the location (i.e. rather high) but the food is really delicious and you can taste that it is freshly prepared. The service is also extremely friendly. The only really small negative point could be that the portions should be a tad bigger.

Very good service and the food was great

The restaurant is really very aesthetically furnished. No cheap decoration, instead there was a lot of really lovely color matching. The food was not the only thing that made eyes wide in this inn! I really enjoy trying out new places and I'm always looking for new places, but I will stay with this inn. The professionalism of the staff is truly impressive. It is consistently fine and we had a nice afternoon there.

Gem at the Viktualienmarkt! Small, lovingly decorated, really cozy little restaurant. Very attentive service, fine menu, generous portions, very well presented and extremely tasty.

Was never there! Never made a request or reservation! But get bothered with alleged reservations and threatened with legal action! Well ... "They" really seem to need it!

Much appearance, little being. The waitress serves humorlessly and strenuously as if she were in a star restaurant, but even at Tim Raue in Berlin the staff is much more relaxed. Food nothing special and the prices not reasonable. Disappointing.

Very rude and impatient service from one of the waitresses in this restaurant. From the very beginning the behaviour of the waitress was border-line impolite, for example, when we ordered 0.3l beers, she said "we don't drink small beers" in Munich. Then I guess maybe don't sell them? :) Or when I pronounced my last name letter by letter, she interrupted me and didn't even try to write it down correctly. We were sitting outside, and when my boyfriend was on the way to the bathroom holding his mask in his hand and about to put it on, she started lecturing him in an aggressive way. Probably thinking it wasn't enough she came back to our table and pretty much started yelling at us for him not wearing a mask when he stood up from the table. I'm not sure why a delay of 5 seconds to put on a mask caused such a reaction, specially taking into account that the waitress herself was pulling the mask down when she talked to me, or when she talked on the phone in the seating area. So overall a very uncomfortable and puzzling experience with the unfriendly and poor service.

Traditional Bavarian kitchen. Nice personal. Just one corner away from the Viktualienmarkt and there a little more quiet.

Here you will find very friendly staff, very good food and a pleasant atmosphere in the middle of Munich city center. The map is currently quite small, but I can always find something here and has never been disappointed.

Very unfriendly staff! We just wanted to have a drink at the end and were chased away in an extremely unfriendly way.

The restaurant to the old market is really recommendable! Very good food, great atmosphere, very nice owner and great team! Have been there a few times and will go again. Thanks to the team from the old market ... keep it up!

Always nice

I have not been so impressed with a restaurant for a long time. The professionalism of the staff is really impressive. The chairs are extremely comfortable and the distance between the tables I find very reasonable. There you do not get the feeling back and forth how to feed cucumbers in the can evening. My boyfriend and I were there together and each of us ordered something else - for my part I can say that I tasted something from everyone and it was great.

Normal service for normal food. Portions are poor and the bill is high. 40 euro for one soup , 3 small sausages 1 beer and a glass of wine.

Everything was very nicely served and tasty, however portions were rather small, so better take it into account if you are truly hungry...

Good restaurant, food food, nice personal.

They asked what language menu we need, we said we speak German, English and Russian. The waitresses made an angry face and said that we can have Russian menu in our Moscow, that was a shock! We are not from Russia and it is absolutely awful!!! Not recommended, a racism here

Awesome place, a München favorite. Enough tables in summer, but make sure to reserve in colder months. Recommend Clear tomato soup w/ chicken dumpling. Simmered 10 hours... and Pike perch.

Don't get fooled by the interior design. Food is excellent. Highly recommend. Staff is friendly and attentive.

My absolute favorite dinner in Munich. Cozy atmosphere, good service and fantastic food. If you can make it at Christmas time, the decorations are perfect.

Very nice restaurant in the heart of the city, but in a quiet courtyard. A small, pretty room. Very credible staff. The food is delicious, cooked at home, with love, but with a restaurant serve. Therefore the price is more than in the beer restaurant. It should be noted that they drink not beer, but wine. Although the beer is very tasty and good. If you want to dine comfortably, then call, book a table (otherwise you can not get there, because there are not many places) and enjoy.

Simply outstanding. They sat a single diner at the only open table (set for 6) and told me they might seat others there - which was fine by me. Indeed a lovely couple of 2 joined me and we enjoyed the perfect blend of private time and convivial conversation. And the food was delightful - I have a hard time finding food I like at Bavarian restaurants, but this was a rare exception. Gorgeous rustic risotto as a starter followed by crispy chicken in a cognac sauce made everything perfect .And the atmosphere was picture perfect. I hope to return.

Excellent, a culinary delight! Selected high quality dishes, creatively presented and very fine. Kudos to the kitchen and the brisk, very attentive waiter, who, despite a rain shower, didn't lose interest in his work. The boss himself acts with great vigor and personality. Lovely again!

Great Bavarian food, but make sure you have time since the service takes a while. The plate I had was delicious (see photo), and we enjoyed our time sitting outside. Also, make sure you have the Kellerbier.

Good food good mood

Apparently they don't like solo travellers. I was rudely turned away even though they clearly had some empty tables inside and outside. What a shame!

The place it’s 100% German style. Really good German food little bit more elaborated than normal. Food quality high. Service was fine.
